Les Incontournables | La Seyne sur Mer
You can reach the town centre on foot (30 minutes walk) or by bus:
► Take the no. 81 or 83 bus from the Mistral network, at the “Rouve” stop (5 minutes away on foot from the Cruise terminal) to the “Mairie La Seyne” stop (6-minute journey).
Many shopkeepers, restaurateurs and leisure service providers are members of the CRUISE FRIENDLY scheme, intended to provide you with the warmest welcome. If you visit CRUISE FRIENDLY partners, as cruise visitors you will be able to enjoy numerous benefits and discounts.

I’d like to visit on foot:
► La Seyne town centre:
- The Provençal market at Louis Blanc court: tucked away among the small, colourful streets, the Provençal market is held in the town centre.. Don’t miss the small fish market either, built in 1839, a living institution in La Seyne. Open every day except Monday from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm.
- Path of Remembrance: a historical walk 10 kilometres long right through the neighbourhoods and alleys of the town centre, from Parc de la Navale to the heights of the Old Town.
- Street Art trail: a graffiti and street art trail, a real open-air museum, on the walls and in the streets of the town centre. You will be able to discover graffiti, paintings and installations by local or international street artists.
► The Port, with its imposing Porte des Chantiers and picturesque lift bridge (Pont Levant), evidence of a strong 500-year history of shipbuilding. You can overlook the village from the bridge lookout.
► Parc de la Navale: this public park of just over 5 hectares is located in front of the sea at the centre of La Seyne. It was built on the site of the former shipyards. Its thematic gardens and pine forests make it an ideal place for a family walk.
I’d like to visit by bus:
- Balaguier Museum: Built in 1634 and reinforced by Vauban, this cannon tower was used to protect the Harbours of Toulon Since 1970, the fort has become a museum recounting local maritime history.
- Baie du Lazaret & Corniche de Tamaris: view of the huts on stilts and mussel beds, option to walk or cycle all the way to get to Les Sablettes beach.
- Les Sablettes: This is the best-known, largest and most frequently visited beach in the area. Major tourist area, with lots of cafés and restaurants along the sea shore, water-based activities: scuba diving, windsurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, inflatable boats, etc.
- If a visit to a shopping centre is a must: there is the Centre "AuShopping" Côté Seyne, which has 50 stores, services and restaurants available.
- Villages and towns close-by:
- Saint Mandrier: fishing village, coastal path, port, beaches, etc.
